Lots of creatures were stirring, promoting goodwill and unity
Excitedly working and taking great care,
In hopes that a myTRI
Tri-Citians are nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of the future dance in their heads
Mom in her kerchief and dad in his cap,
Had just climbed Badger Mountain and wanted a nap
When out of their slumber they arose with a clatter
And said “I love the Tri-Cities and want it to matter!”
Looking out the window they beheld their community,
And discussed all the potential and BIG opportunity
“What we need is a vision for the entire region” they said,
“I see a shared purpose and transformation ahead!”
From city to city, county lines to rivershore,
Over 4,500 voices were heard and won’t be ignored
As bright ideas danced for community collaboration,
Came a voice ringing loud – but with no consternation:
“The myTRI Regional Vision launch date will soon be made known,
And you won’t want to miss the big things to be shown!”
Welcome Tri-Citians from Pasco, and Kennewick and more,
On Richland! On West Richland! And citizens galore!
Come see what the buzz has been all about,
As we all join together to cheer and to shout!
And celebrate our brand new, community-driven vision,
Six BIG opportunity areas – decisions, decisions, decisions!
The details and date of the launch will be shared,
And as holidays close – then the date will be aired
So thanks for your patience – it will be worth the wait
The myTRI 2030 Regional Vision is gonna be GREAT!!!
